Agree with others and Bungie about legendaries. Leave them behind if you must, but not the exotics. This gear is special and could be a symbol, later down the road, of a journey you took to get a gun or armor piece that was only available in the first disc of destiny (so years 1 and 2). If for nothing else just to have one tier of gear that could never get outclassed. Obviously we should be responsible for ascending the gear (with an exotic shard, parts, and some glimmer), but we should at least have the choice to bring our exotics forward. And no, this isn't just for Gally, I want to bring all of exotic weapon and armor pieces forward, even the sun bros.
