Thanks for the feedback. I have made the dev team aware of how you feel. I can't make any promises other than that I will continue to make them aware of how much you care about your Year One gear, and would like to take it with you into Year Two.

December 4th statement by bungie said they respected our time and effort into our gear and wouldn't step on it. Sounded like a good statement that cared. Fast forward, now they go back on it again. $40 is looking a little pricey now that my time and gear are going away. Especially that 651 hours for my first Ghorn.
