Money talks, bruh. If I say I'm upset but still generate revenue for the company I'm upset with, do you think that matters to them?
If they lose a player from this DLC, they don't just lose $40, they stand to lose the amount he would have paid for all future DLC's and sequels. It's basic business, repeat/loyal customers need to be your bread and butter if you want to exist long term.

So true, but unfortunately im just a drop in the ocean of there profits. Unless ppl boycott, nothing will change. Glad to see someone on here has sense though

Everyone is just "a drop" though and there are plenty of people that share your opinion (which is just as valid an opinion as anyone else's, regardless of what others feel compelled to say)

You don't seem to really grasp who this dlc is really geared towards do you: Instant leveling. Taken king collection edition, new leveling system. Etc. That 40 dollars he is withholding is a drop in the bucket. They already have made profit at this point. Everything else here on is icing. What they are doing is attracting new consumers. If he has no plans to support it later. Well that's funds lost but please let's not be naive into thinking that the new dlc or destiny 2 will suffer.

People who have a grasp of the cost of acquiring new customers vs maintaining existing customers knows what I'm talking about. No DLC is made without existing customers being the priority and to think otherwise is foolish. But if you think I'm wrong, there's nothing I can say that will convince you otherwise.
