I don't see how you can be against this. You don't have to use year 1 gear. And if you're worried about people melting boring bosses with gally because you like shooting the same stupid bosses with your primary, you don't even have to worry. It's getting nerfed too. Btw I don't care about leaving Legendaries behind but exotics are unacceptable.
