Neanderthals had bigger brains, our smaller brains were more efficient and made us smarter. So besides this being scientifically false, it is also ironic because it might actually make people smarter. Topkek acheivement.

Ok thanks for the clarification! Just wondering, what branch of science does the size of the brain and its function in terms of comparison to other species and human predecessors fall into? Anthropology or biology maybe?

Neurological Science?

Edited by Bloom Unknown : 10/17/2015 12:09:23 AMI always thought of neurological studies as medical related but I suppose they might require courses on the history of the brain and comparisons to other species and human predecessors.

Neuro means brain(if im correct)
-
I know. But studying the brain for medical reasons is different than for scientific or social reasons.
-
Medical and science go hand in hand, especially with something such as marijuana and its effects on the brain
-
Of course. I meant scientific as in branches of science other than medical. I wasn't inquiring about the effects of marijuana but medical would definitely cover that area.
