That's not he problem. The weed induces hallucinations and a high. Making stupid people even more stupid. It's adding on, that's why it's bad. You could argue medical purposes, but not many people understand that.

Not all weed is a hallucinogenic, theres sativa and indica. Polar opposites. But I agree, if someone is already too stupid, they don't need to be smoking weed
