Probably because they're all dumbass high schoolers that starts smoking when they were 12. Starting too early has been shown to impair intelligence and brain development.

Then in all honesty they were probably going to be stupid anyways. No study has ever shown a link between marijuana use in adults and said adults being morons or lazy and yes they have tried to.

My personal experience begs to differ. They were fine throughout their teens and into their early 20s up until they started smoking pot.
