I'm the only person that matters to me, if it's performing as intended then the intent is wrong. There's no point in having a weekly activity when you have rewards in the loottable that require a further grind and a further lottery in the RNG system. Especially when you can just buy the same consumable from a vendor.

You just want the game to hand you what you want, maybe if nightfall was still a challenge but now nightfall are a joke so no surprise you have to get lucky Btw nightfalls always had luck involved in the drop rate

Yes but nightfalls previously gave you A. Marks and B. A reputation buff. It gives neither now.
