Did you see the patch notes for the nightfall? WTF bungie. Do you think 95% of guardians are 8 years old? Added Ghost shells? Who in the hell asked for that? +10 Level to drops? 10% increase to legendary drop probability?
Want to fix the nightfall for real? How about you try:
1. Increase exotic drop percentage by 25% (Minimum)
2. Improve guardian evaluation. If I'm getting another of the same vanguard helmets I've gotten 10 times, make the light level equal or higher than my equipped helmet.
3.Really implement the "Exotic drops will prioritize equipment you don't have" promise. You blatantly lied on that one too. How many times can I get no backup plans and alpha lupi?
4. Make strange coin rewards 20/EA.
5. And most important of all. Give me my faction rep back! I don't want vanguard rep. Never did, never will. My highest vanguard rep on a character was 7. Give me the option to choose where my rep goes!!!!!!!

As long as you're pledged to a faction you are always getting faction rep for everything you do.

I know, but faction rep is a portion of what it used to be and instead we get alot of rep for the vanguard which I have no interest in.

Na he was the lucky one. I got a shit ghost. Well 302 but already had the Kings fall at 305. So unwound of rather had the coins lol.

I missed that last line on the notes, someone already pointed it out. I was probably so pissed at the previous notes that my brain neglected to process the last line.

Items are dropping with high light level now. People are receiving 305-310 legendaries including ghosts.

I'm 305 light, received a 298 ghost shell from nightfall. I have a raid shell on all characters and have dismantled 4 others. If you've done the raid, you have no use for any of this sub-300 garbage legendary armor.

Bad luck bud, people are getting 305-310 ghosts to drop. I'm not saying it's a guarantee but they are dropping.

At least give the buff and some marks so there isn't a chance that you've completely wasted your time. They did remove antiquated runes though.

Missed that one on the patch notes. Just saw it. I'm still getting them from the raid though. It's unacceptable as a reward for defeating a raid boss as well.
