Yeah, because bungie and Activision have so much control over taxes and other fees the UK charges people...

Sigh. Even taking sales tax (VAT) into account TTK was 25% more expensive in the UK than in the US or even the Euro zone. There are no other 'fees' involved with it being distributed digitally over the Xbox Live Store. They're not the only ones to do this though.

So no transaction fees between banks, currency conversion fees, state, federal, and local taxes that get charged here for doing said conversions. Are you a finance major in university? Are you a CPA (or whatever it's called in the UK)?

VAT at 20 % is the only applicable tax and is UK wide, it is displayed as part of the sale price. No such thing as state or local tax exist. Can you please provide some links for these transaction and/or currency conversion charges which banks ONLY apply to items sold digitally in the UK and not apparently any other country in the EU or indeed the US? Why then was vanilla Destiny (and every other game) $60 and £40 on release (a fairly equivalent price). Yet TTK was $40 and £40? Did these bank charges and so forth only come into effect in the past year or are they super special ones that only apply to Bungie DLC? Let me know.
