I also find that area to feel quite similar to the plague lands, which would explain the fallen Walker in the background.

Europa. It is home of the Cauldron of Rhea and has linkages to the Nine and through them Osiris. It was the next step in the original story, so the content (much like TTK) is already somewhat made. The new story goes through that content in different ways, so I would expect it soon
