They aren't balancing the weapons around the game mode They balance the weapons around crucible as a whole What they need to do is separate PVE and PVP Another part of the problem you're talking about is that mainly big streamers play trials and then voice their opinion on guns and supers that need to be changed and of course Bungie listens to them because they are streamers The fluctuation of a new meta every patch is not the players fault It's bungies inability to balance their own game They don't even test numbers to see what works which was proven by the whole "typo" incident
