I can tell you it because the problem was never Thorn, Sunbreakers or MIDA (which is an absolute joke to call OP). The issue is and always has been players like you who can't see an opponent using a weapon and formulate a strategy for the match based off their loadout. Don't tell me Thorn was OP when I barely ever got outgunned by it. I beat Thorn with Coiled Hiss, Hygiea Noblesse, NA3D1 and Abyss Defiant (when ARs were "crap"). Thorn was by no means bad, but it was infinitely counterable as well.
