Its the other way around since destiny is over a year old but if you want to get serious, the supers in destiny are borrowed out of halo in a way and also any other super hero game, for example the fist of havoc, has its routes from the hulk and prototype games as both had a ground smash ability they over 8 and 5 years old respectively. Warlock abilities are ripped from final fantasy or any fantasy rpg that uses magic, titan defender also falls under this. The sunbreaker is obviously a flame based thoroughly from the marvel comics.
