I do have to say this. You told him to be 315 before doing the hard mode raid. You do know that normal mode will only bring you to 310 max right? My first hard mode clear, and mostly alot of others here too, were around 306-309 when hard mode came out. And we still completed it. Yes challenge mode is a bit harder and you kinda want to be 310 for it, but the guy was 309. Thats good enough. You could have looked into why he would keep dying. Teach him the ways. If its just 1, it isnt a problem that should hold you back. I had a simple rule when hard mode came out to get teams together. All the way up to daughters, you dont need to be 310+. And even then a experienced raider can still do it at 310. Only time someone needs to be 315 is Oryx challenge mode. Look, i do understand it. I myself ask for 317+ groups these days. Not because light matters, but because experience matters. I know i have time on reset day so want to get my raids done. Rest of the week is always a gamble because of work. If i have the time, i will help friends out with the raid and i wont look at light levels. Does that make me an elitist? I dont know, also dont care.
