Religion makes me lose faith in humanity. I've learned to not let it bother me though. It kind of goes along with that girls post though. If she feels that strongly about sexuality she should about religion as well. Don't call a baby christian, catholic, Jewish, Muslim, etc. until they can choose one or none on their own.

I've questioned my faith before... It will happen again but I heard things... That will forever be lost... I have personally heard God. He has in the past spoken to me. I don't know what he said but ive very felt so at peace since...

The baby parts bad but religion gives people faith and hope when thugs are bad.

I understand what you are saying. I think its harder to come out of religion though, it would have to be something you announce once you are leaving your parents house. Hard core christians or muslims would start freaking out that the devil is taking you away from salvation. The baby thing is more like biologically speaking you are what you are feelings dont count yet.

I sat my parents down in the kitchen and told them point blank I didn't believe. Yet I had no choice to go through baptism up to confirmation. It was all decided for me.
-
*sigh* You know in the end they were trying to do what they thought was best for you. That way if you "stray" from that path your parents can say say they did what they could it was your choice not their misguiding. Try not to sweat it too much.

I don't sweat it.
