Lol, like the month after I got bailed out of jail my friends were all saying "dude, prison changed you!!" Haha. But all that happened was I realized i never wanted to go back. I do want to find my mug shot though. I even paid a month subscription to a website that said they had all mugshots. Still couldn't find mine :(.
Yeah getting off a submarine for the first time after a long deployment was weird! The biggest thing is it's hard to sleep the first few nights because there so much more oxygen then we are used to.
When we go on an extended patrol, we lower the oxygen level to reduce the risk of fire, and lower the chance of any germs/bacteria growing!
They [i]tell[/i] me there's no long term effect on your body after running around at 16-17% oxygen for months. Meh.
And seeing girls again after months of only dudes is a fantastic change.
Glad I never have to do it again though, lol.
