  • Hmmm, been a while since I last read about it. If u remember correctly; some people believe that the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter (I think those were the 2 planets) couldn't have been the remains of a once exploded planet. Your thoughts?

It would make sense for there to be a lot of debris around Jupiter, and considering what Mars' two moons look like, the asteroid belt makes sense. Like, what I'm trying to say is we don't need a planet to explode for the asteroid belt to be there, the solar system started out as a field of debris around a protostar, and planets came from the bits and pieces, so it follows that there would be stuff left over.
