How feasible is terraforming at the moment? Any prospective planets we looking to get our grubby ol' meat hooks on?

Not feasible whatsoever. A living planet requires plate tectonics, active volcanism, and a global magnetic field. We still don't conclusively know exactly how Earth's global magnetic field works, so I'd imagine when we figure that out is when we'll have some more feasibility.

Why are volcanism, plate tectonics and magnetic field needed for human life?
-
Those are needed for a living planet. Not human life, two very different things. A living planet get support life, human life is a lot trickier. But basically these requirements play off of each other. For a global magnetic field, you need moving liquid under the surface (like we have in the outer core). With moving liquid under the surface, this then allows for plate tectonics. Plate tectonics allow for volcanism. A global magnetic field will protect from radiation from Sun. Volcanism forms an atmosphere with heavier elements that would otherwise be trapped under the surface, like oxygen. Plate tectonics assure that the volcanism will remain active, which will need to happen because the CO2 cycle will end up freezing the surface, and volcanism will heat it back up.

Ok, thanks.

We are centuries away from that sort of tech

Considering we're already having trouble solving climate problems on our own damn planet... Eh.
