Stephen Hawking and another guy came up with it. It basically says that our universe could have come from nothing. That's too farfetched for me to believe though.

I only vaguely remember it, so I could have explained it wrong. But I will not believe it at all unless there is more solid proof.

If it was always existent, then it could never have been created, therefor it couldn't have came from something. I understand that's a confusing idea, but that's because humans are naturally inclined to think in terms of cause and effect, and we have a very hard time imagining infinity.

Yeah, it's pretty hard for me to grasp that idea. At any rate, I love learning about the universe. It amazes me to no end.
