Never had this happen to me. My boyfriend and I play all the time together. I've been kicked before for dying while playing with a group of try hards. The only questions I'm ever asked is my light level and character. Same as my boyfriend.

It's almost as if the problem doesn't really exist and is being blown way out of proportion by a few people who may or may not have experienced a situation like this, A TIME OR TWO, while playing. Some people just love to let that one bad experience color the entire rest of their experience. Suddenly it's a pandemic. Source: I have been raiding on LFG since before The Dark Below. So many random groups, so many random girls/women. Not once can I remember anybody doing anything inappropriate or even really acknowledging the other gender was even present. The rest of the raid team was also made up of 4 random guys in just as many random groups. Not that it DOESN'T happen... but a serious problem? I dunno.

  • Same, I always use LFG And never have an issue. sure a couple times people say something like "oh you're a girl? You got a boyfriend?" But it's followed by laughter and "jks" and it's all in good fun. Lol
