I'm a female Destiny player.
I've played in both Australia and in Canada, so I have a variety of different experiences to draw from. I have played both with my partner and without. In Australia I met people only through random tower invites(for two months I did okay with a lot of randoms) and in Canada I met people through crazy amounts of randoms to do raids with.
I found in Australia with random invites that I was getting hit on a lot. And once they all figured out I was seeing someone they either blocked me, deleted me, or stopped talking to me.
Once I got to Canada I honestly haven't had anyone hit on me. I've had one guy offer to carry me through trials, and his phrasing led me to believe it wasn't just him being nice.
It's really not that bad, though one thing that sticks out to me is that most other girls I meet are massive bitches. I don't know if it's because they've had so many people hit on them that they're going to be mean or if that's just them, but it's really discouraging. Maybe guys persistently flirt but girls are mean when no one is hitting on them.
It's a double edged sword.

My favorite part is people block or delete you when they find out you have a boyfriend, like do these people actually expect to find a girlfriend via playing destiny? Lol

I mean it could happen I would rather have someone who lives near me.

With the sh*t that women must deal with in gaming, I cant blame them for being nasty.

That's the thing though, a lot of this 'shit women deal with' is exaggerated. While there is some, it's pretty comparable to what kids gave to deal with, and to what other guys have to deal with. hell if anything kids have it worse, sometimes they aren't even allowed in a raid group.
