Bungie wants to ensure there's more variety in what we use, they've said as much. Exotics present a problem here because if they're too exotic, that's all we'll use. Instead they seem to want to try to make some exotics have unique perks that are ideal for particular play styles but not for all play styles. I guess overall I think bungie has the right idea here, I don't miss having a single best loadout for almost all situations.

I agree, i think it's a little more RPG now have to use different load outs for different situations, it feels less COD now I guess

make more really good exotics, problem solved. bungie can stop being lazy
-
Exactly, exotics aren't meant to be the best option
-
Then why are the called "exotic"?
-
strikingly unusual or strange in effect or appearance
This is the definition for exotic. It does not mean better. It means different from the usual.

I can play too
power to produce results; efficacy; force;validity; influence
Here is the definition for effect. Mida is the same as a legendary with the same perk (+2 agility) since HCR was taken out. Thorn does less dmg upon impact and you have to wait for the dot to bring the dmg up to what legendaries do upon impact and doesn't have over penetration anymore. Tlw rewarded for hip fire and now all it does is fire fast. Exotic are not exotic anymore. Instead of nerfing the exotics, why not buff the legendary perks or make better ones?

Umm I don't know, maybe to be an exotic option which is different from the ordinary archetype? You use -blam!-ing brain
