As it stands the best
Autorifle is : the Doctrine / Arminus d / soulstealers claw ( no exotic)
Scoutrifle : Mida / Jade rabbit / and various legendaries that can compete given the right roll
Handcannons : TLW / Hawkmoon / Eyasluna / Lord High Fixer
Snipers : Any hardhitting legendary ( no exotic except maybe the Zen Meteor)
Rocketlaucher : Truth.
machinegun : Various legendaries ( no exotic)
Shotgun : Invective , Partycrasher , Conspiracy
Fusion : Plan C.
Sidearms : Any good rolled legendary ( no exotic)
Pulse : Hawksaw / grasp / Suros PDX ( no exotic)
There are far too many legendaries that outshine their exotic counterparts.

Finnala's Peril has the EXACT same stats as Eyasluna other than Stability. I have one of each with the same range and side perks and the only difference is a small chunk of stability. Ice Breaker still kicks arse in Crucible. MANY Legendary rocket launchers can still be competitive in Crucible. Juju and Red Death still work pretty well in Crucible. I'm tired of retyping so I'll name more viable things. Thunderlord. SUROS Regime. Vision of Confluence (Same archetype as raid scout). Universal Remote. NLB. Etc, etc. Just gt good and used to whatever works for you. Your list is a garbled mess of what maybe you personally have been killed by and therefore find to be the Meta.

No , you sort of missed the point. I HAVE all those guns. Im talking about the BEST weapons in their categories . And its sad but most of the top tier guns are legendary and not exotic. The point is that exotics should outclass their fellow legendaries. Year 1 guns are not relevant because im talking Trails and IB. Competetive.

Dreg's Promise is amazing in the Crucible I thought? Tlaloc is the best Scout rifle in the game. Hands down. Try it.

I found some success with Dreg's Promise, but because it's a sidearm it takes time for the projectiles to hit their target.

when your just outside of shotgun range dregs promise is nasty it shreds opponents.

It takes care of shotguns and fusion rifles too. Only gripe I have with it, besides the slow projectiles, is that I run out of ammo too damn fast.

i used to call myself judge dregg back in year 1. i was all about that gun it is an exotic if used right. its also hysterical to kill people with in trials and such. did they bring it to year 2? started playing again 2-3 weeks ago after a 6 month break

Yup, it's back. They tweaked it a bit so test it out before you do anything too sweaty. I think the only way to get it is to grind the new PoE. I was going for Queenbreaker's Bow but I'm still happy.

Tlaloc? I have it and i tried it. In super mode its like the mida except that its hit registration is way worse than the midas imo. But maybe i just didnt get the hang of it. The best hit registration is on the jade rabbit. That thing never misses .

Way, Way better than Mida. 60 Damage instead of 50 and a much higher fire-rate. I have had no hit registration problems. It's amazing imo.

I thought the same thing but now it's become my go to gun when running sun singer. It's fast than Mida, hits harder and feels better

First Curse and Ace of Spades are good in PVP also. And try Hereafter it´s so much fun that sniper
