I see what your saying but I feel like pve would be more fun if it was the actual focus of the game. Exotics would be way more fun and satisfying to receive. People barely get happy about them anymore because they're thinking about how useless they'll be in iron banner. I remember when getting an icebreaker or Hawkmoon meant a lot, now everyone is just looking for a doctrine or longbow not to have fun protecting the last city but to get some "sick" clips for their next montage.

Yeah I agree with the exotics thing. I just don't think they are special anymore because they are so easy to obtain through quests and three of coins. Exotics used to be so rare and a symbol of what you have accomplished, now they are available to buy in a vault. (I like the vault thing but it still takes away from exotics importance.) As for pve being more fun, I agree that it would be but bungie would have to have much more frequent content releases and I don't think the best way to make pve more of a focus would be to remove pvp in general.

I'm not saying remove pvp.... I mean I was before but that would be stupid at this point, right now I just want more unique weapons and to keep weapon fixes separate for pve and pvp.
