The Taken King's story had 8 missions, and then a ton of quests were unlocked afterwards. I think Rise of Iron is following this method, so expect something more than simply 5 missions! I think that The Taken King's grind was a bit much and the reward system was pretty crappy to start, so that probably added to the die-out effect we experienced early on. And of course the lack of content for the majority of the year. With the new reward system and everything as it is now post-April, I think we are in for a good time. Plus, they mentioned that they will focus on delivering more content. I also believe that Year 2 was so dry of content because they were shifting around their plans and creating a new strategy to focus on future content. Call it a breather, if you will, to sort out what Destiny lacked in the first year, to see if they improved in the second, and to catch up on content to release in the future. For the game world that they created, it must be a lot of work to create all of this. They are doing awesome, and the game continues to progress! Personally, I am happy that they are focusing on Lord Saladin this time around. Maybe now after two years he can stop telling me to prove myself worthy to him. Like betch, I've been tryin'! lol They seem very confident with this DLC, so I truly believe it's going to be a great expansion! We will see in less than 50 days from now!
