Agreed but somebody buying Destiny 2 without importing from Destiny "1" will have already missed all the fun in progressing 1-40 anyway. It'll make no difference to them missing out on levelling 1-40 and the 3 subclasses we have atm because they obviously had no interest in doing so in the first game. As far as a newbie is concerned, Destiny 2 starts 40-80 (made up number but you get my point*) and with the 3* subclasses everybody will be levelling in Destiny 2.
