I think she may make an appearance. Since the Cabal sent a distress signal the last time we saw them, I think they may be the focus of D2, to start at least. And since the Cabal are fighting mostly Vex and the Stranger's main focus is the Vex, there is an opportunity for her to show her face [spoiler]And maybe have time to explain...[/spoiler]
