They promised in the beginning that our characters would carry over into the next game, as part of the ten year plan. That said I believed them, in the beginning. Given bungie's tendencies for lying to our faces, I'm not so sure now! I do say this, if they do pull that crap with destiny 2, then I'm done!!! I didn't put 2 years work and thousands of hours into my characters to start them over, and loose all my weapons and armor!!!!! Bungie needs to keep their word on this, they have lied to us enough!!!!! People who want a fresh start, can delete their guardians and start over, but it shouldn't be forced on the rest of us!!!!!

yet you do that same thing in every DLC, in 2 weeks your current legendary gear wont be stronger than the first green crap you see on a mission, your gold gear wont matter anyway because it's all year 2 and it wont move over, you'll have to level it to year 3 status, so tell me what difference does it make to start over and Destiny 2 if we've done it on every single DLC since Dark Bellow?.

From TDB to HOW it's was about end game content and that was the raids. Which wasn't bad because it made you feel you were actually getting somewhere. From HOW to Ttk you had etheric light which made it easy to upgrade things etc. Then comes the nightmare. [b] Ttk lightlevel[/b] Bungie made this expansion such a grind in every aspect of this game that for [b] 7 months gamers were pissed off at Bungie because how everything was dropping way below their light level. 7 months mind you.[/b] Then they came out with a hand me out update after that that anyone could reach max light level 320 less then week. Not to mention Bungie added 20 different light levels to every single weapon and gear piece. So when you say it's no big deal. Try imagine what they might do in Rise of iron after the hell Bungie put gamers through in Ttk.
