The main issue OP is addressing is the pseudo-SJW "protests" people are making by not pre-ordering. Just like change.org petitions, protests aimed at devs who have yet to release a game are worthless down to the last kilobyte of data used to display them. Besides that one that attempted to stop the release of Metroid: Federation Force. That one was needed. -blam!- that game. It put the Metroid Franchise to bed.
