I am an adult with a job too. I agree with you to some extent, but it sounds like you wouldn't buy tickets to a show in Vegas or even a movie for that matter. You only know what the billboards and commercials show, but you really have no idea what is to be expected. You make the purchase because you are looking to be entertained by what other minds have created for you. This is what causes you to spend your hard earned cash - personal enjoyment (whatever it may be for everyone). Other items you might not purchase because no outcome of the final product is known: Sporting Events A dinner at a new restaurant Kite flying lessons _______________ (fill in the blank) I am personally not happy with how Destiny 1 changed from Beta to its current state. I am not planning on buying Destiny 2 for myself - I may get it as a gift though. Even then Bungie will have to impress me with PvP changes to come back. Maybe I will try Overwatch. I have seen about 5 minutes of game play. Is that enough reason to plop down $40 bucks for it...? It's on sale from $60. Good deal right?
