I simply explained how he didn't have to go into numbers, and that if he was good at budgeting his money with 15$ then shifting to 21$ wouldn't have changed his way of life so much. The initial shift of 15$ to 21$ an hour is good, but it isn't a big life changing change unless you struggled beforehand. Either way I could make an 8$ an hour job make me look like I'm making money simply because of how I handle my money. My point of calling him out was simply because his post comes off snarky. In fact his post has no actual connection with the original OP's point.
