Purchasing something prior to knowing the quality of the content is simply stupid. Also, you clearly think you're special because you have a job.
Perfect example is NBA 2k17. They accepted preorders.got a shit ton of money, but when it came to content, it was a big secret.
When 2k released NBA 17, it was NBA 16. They literally resold these people the same exact game. Only thing that was different was a few of the player ratings changed from an 81 overall to an 82 overall.
Other than that it literally was the same game.
I'm sorry but you're wrong. Also seem to be bragging that you have a job. Welcome to the real world, I would looooove if everyone was like you. I would tell you I'm selling Popsicles, but you can't know what flavor, just that I'm selling Popsicles. Force you to order it without seeing what you're getting, proceed to sell you frozen dog shit. The great thing is you have choice. If you work and make money you can spend it on whatever youd like. If you have popsicles and wont tell me and are a dick about it then ill go to the next guy selling unkown flavored popsicles in a pleasant manner and spend my money there.

I didn't preorder 2K17 until I actually played the beta (or intro, whatever it was) and realized about 10 minutes in it was the same exact game. Same animations, same graphics. Only thing I noticed that changed was there was now a shot meter for layups, which is absolutely stupid. Ended up not preordering, and very thankful I didn't.

Dude that's what people have done since video games were invented, duh. I suppose you waited with bated breath for the reviews of Super Mario Bros 2 to come out before you deigned to check it out for yourself. I didn't. I bought that shit as soon as I could. Lead to some disappointments, most notably Pac-Man for the 2600, but that's the price of being a fan instead of a sour old turd your whole life I guess
