That's one point. I also just didn't see the need for him to state his hourly wage without giving any more details as if that set wage made all the difference. Afterall 21$/hour is nice but if your hours are let's say 20 a week, you'd make less than someone working 10$/hour having 50 hours a week. The missing information just seemed pointless for them to point out their hourly wage to begin with. Personal opinion of course on my behalf though.

  • I mean no offense, but I think you're actually just confusing yourself... He basically said he has plenty of money right off the bat. Deductive thinking, from him stating proudly that he makes $21/hour-- 1) That's a lot of money to him, and--2) his bills/overhead are obviously low enough to be able to say he's very comfortable financially... Why would it bother you that he put a number down? This was a thread about money and how you spend your money, somewhat; I don't see the issue, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

  • I'm not confused, I think you're just confused about how I see their income. It isn't the fact that he said he has plenty of money, it's just the fact that I didn't see a point in him stating his 21$/hr. This is a simple pet peeve of mine as I have always gone with; the amount of money you make is irrelevant and is only dependent on how well you manage it. I already explained the value of 21$/hour. So yeah, I'm bothered by the lack of information to his total sum of throwing 21$/hr out to where it needs to be impressed. But you are correct this thread is about money, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and how they choose to express themselves.
