The gaming industry is worth +$90 billion which is double that of the global film industry. It is massively successful, and as hardware and software technology improve (including Artificial Intelligence & VR) only going to get bigger and more successful. So I don't think you mean pre-orders are going to destroy that massive growth industry. What you perhaps mean is that pre-orders affect the quality of the products, and in-game purchases put off the consumer. You are still wrong however
