"Whiners wanted"
You mean people that like using actual skill?
English
-
The point of video games was never to hone your pretty much "useless in real life" skill. It's for most people a way to unwind and have fun.
-
A lot of prople find actual competitiveness fun
-
A lot of us don't. They should just make a competitive pvp mode where everyone uses the same weapons and abilities are disabled. That way us casuals can have our fun without affecting you hardcore "pros"
-
No. No no no. I'm not a "pro" I just like being competitive. Huge differrence.
-
Then maybe getting off the couch and trying a marathon would be a better fit? Hardcore and healthy, win/win. You can be uber competitive and stop killing the fun.
-
You obviously can't see my point of view. I like scifi shooters, yes? I also like having a skill gap. Destiny 2 seems to do this wonderfully.
-
Oh, the old skill argument... uuuugh. Supers and abilities take skill to use properly also. It takes a different kind of skill than primaries, but it still takes skill. Some people don't know how to use supers properly at all. People that panic super, or use it just to get one or two separate kills that they could've gotten with a gun; people that don't use it strategically for zones, to get heavy, to deny heavy, for the spark, or to shut down enemy supers, etc... It's the same for grenades. Some people use them really well, others just toss them haphazardly. They may not take the same type of skill, but they do take skill to use properly.
-
Well obviously spamming grenades and supers everywhere takes tons of skill.
-
If you're getting beat by them whilst having the same options obviously you don't have the skill you think you do?
-
Lol really?
-
I didn't say I couldn't do it. I prefer gunfights. Not the sticky meta we have now.
