This whole attempting to push this like ESports scene tilts me as that's all these changes were for, the attempt for Activision to get in on the ESports scene.
Destiny will never be ESports.

Activison is already on the Esport scene for some time with Cod The changes have nothing to do with Esport but to make the PVP more accessible

I think that with the introduction of PC, D2 will actually have an eSport scene, as the entire platform is more competitive itself. That also means those "sweaty players" from D1 are gonna be washed away, as the PC platform brings with it an immense amount of highly skilled players.
