Heres the better question, do you people want more supers because you want more easy kills because you cant hack it using your primary? Pvp is friggin great without all the ability spamming.

Here's a better question.
Do you wanna have a bad time?

Undertale reference.

don't kill me
It's just I kinda agree on everyone that maybe PvE might have gotten nerfed a bit too much again. But other than that, I hated it when Destiny 1 was a casual and easily accessible game to a point where you didn't need actual gunplay to win, the abilities got them for you.
-
Yes, thank you. One of the things I hated about Destiny 1, especially Trials, was how many times I got killed by abilities. I remember this one skirmish match, this guy killed me -blam!-ING 7 TIMES WITH JUST FUSION NADES! Like that was all he used, and unfortunately my friend also felt the end of those sticky nades. It was utter cancer and I'm glad they nerfed abilities.
-
Getting your super once at the end of the match so you can't even use it isn't fun either.
-
-
No, it's really not. It's less FUN.
-
No I want it because it's fun. It's what drew me to destiny in the first place. It's what sets destiny apart from other shooters. Destiny without abilities is like titanfall without Titans.

Edited by SeaWolv: 7/19/2017 2:08:22 PMAgree. Supers is what sets Destiny apart from other games. Remember when they introduced Mayhem? The first match I jumped in I was literally laughing like a kid the whole time it was so much fun.
-
Exactly the whole point of destiny in my opinion

Edited by TheCyo: 7/19/2017 10:22:55 AMOh, you are the guy who will turn a last man standing in elimination around just with his scout. Please send me a clip how you win the duel against the grouped up enemies. PvP is broken.
-
I dont deserve the win if my team constantly gets down to a 1v3 always leaving me alone. Oy hey, i used my super and won a round....still have plenty of other rounds to win and its obvious not all supers will hit someone. I have plenty clips of 1v3's on my xbox and ps4 using just weapons in D1 even at my skill level. If it sounds impossible then you dont expand your playstyle to learn how to deal with things.
-
Type in ifrostbolt into YouTube. Look for his 1v3 elimination matches where all he uses is a hand cannon. I think his best was getting to 5 wins in trials on his own.
-
A) neither you and me are frostbolt B) let's do this with the D2 Handcannons ( 4 headshots i think)
-
go watch gamesager play
-
I think that's the point. Getting with your team and forcing the other team to be down in numbers. If you're team is good enough to consistently get the opposition I a 1v3, they shouldn't be bailed out with a super that doesn't need strategy at all. Supers are a strategic boost now, not a game winner. I like the direction.
-
What about for PvE then ?
-
That I do wish it would be available a bit more. I played the strike 3 times on each character and got 2 supers each time even though at the end, i racked well over 100 enemies. I wont call for a buff until the full game comes out since abilities could end up being tied to armor as well.
-
I would like to see more super energy from PvE kills.
-
The abilities are the most fun thing of destiny. To mix shooting up with special stuff.
-
Too bad its abused in D1 for me to agree.
-
I want more supers because that's what makes Destiny... well, Destiny. It's what makes it unique and fun. If I wanted nothing but primary play, I'd play CoD.
-
Amen.
-
Exactly!!!

Well said sir! For me destiny is most enjoyable in the mayhem format. Going competitive is a mistake imo. The connection framework (p2p) is not stable enough to grant a level playing field. Let's just make it fun dudes like it was originally planned.
