My humble thoughts about it...
At D1 with sh1t gear it also take a long time to get your super.
But...the supers itself... Yes, they're very disappointing.
TTK is fine (shoot their heads/ crits)
Weapons look cool and feel good.
I don't agree with many saying that they are underwhelming. (We need more ammunition tough) Still....Had no problem beating the strike or killing any enemy (yellow bar or not)
I don't want a game that is too easy. I want a challenging game (not extreme though)
But always the same weapons and with the same perks. Bad decision! How many of us played the same activities or been hoping that a vendor or a drop will get you that "god" roll?
That was actually one of the things that made a lot of players putting so many hours into D1
Playability still good(ish)
Now... Those jumps...loool. Terrible! Why?Only needed to slow down a little bit the Titans.
PVP: Only 4x4 Bad! Removing rumble, 3x3 and 6x6 it's bad...really bad.
The maps so far... Wow... terrible. A lot worst than D1
Always got 1 super, but the super itself sucks. Hunter is probably the best for attacking. Titan and Warlock worst than everyone thought it would be.
PVE: Basically the same as D1(Like a Dlc)
Super underwhelming, not enough ammo, enemy's...bah (A.I still bad)
So... I like the new weapons and how they perform(except the grenades launcher) both Pve and PvP.
That's not enough to buy the game. I did not pre-order (now definitely not going to), played with a code that I got from the forums.
Will wait for some feedback and some videos to make my decision.
Hope is the last thing to give up...right?
Hey, Bungie... You shot yourself in the foot!

Good thing you wasted that code when someone who isn't a whiney snatch could have used it.

Oh whiteducky... It seems that you can't read, or you just struggling to understand. Maybe you're just young. I understand. Maybe you should ask an adult? And that negativity... Maybe you should watch more porn.

Porn? You're an odd dude, explains the whiney post.

thanks for this post, unlike a lot of other biased posts yours seems to be honest and actually well thought out. im not planning on playing the beta since my subscription ran out and atm i dont care to refresh it since there arent rly any games that catch my eye. looks like destiny 2 isnt worth the money unless they change a lot of aspects. the lack of customization was already very off puting for me. i wanted something with more depth, not something more generic. the only thing that kinda surprised me (in a good way) was that armors have shader slots now.

Grinding the same shit mindlessly over and over for a certain item is probably the worst reason to spend time in a game, so I'm cool with that. Supers? I played two matches yesterday and in bot matches I teamwiped the others with my FoH-Godmode. The roaming supers are op as shit and nearly unkillable if you don't have another super to counter them.
The roaming supers are op as shit and nearly unkillable if you don't have another super to counter them.
So far for me, I've killed 1 sentinel, 1 Dawnblade, and 1 arc strider all with team shooting. And team shooting being me and at most 2 other people. I feel the supers health is way less than in D1. BTW, the Warlock exotic sub machine gun is broken as long as you get hit my an arc projectile, you have unlimited bullets... And fusion rifles are literally OP!!
#NerfFusionRifles
Agree that the Nova bomb is pretty bad...it goes so slow people have completely moved out of the way for long distance shots

"How many of us played the same activities or been hoping that a vendor or a drop will get you that "god" roll?" and that one reason there is why they nerfed most weapons. heck i've ground the grasp to bits got a couple of god rolls, guess what happened nerfed, because some streamer cried to his fanboys and they in turn cried nerf this or nerf that. hopefully the new system will allow for nerfing per activity ie pve vs pvp, not just one blanket nerf. and if you want proof, look at the new truth compared to the old one,
-
Yes, true. Destiny is probably the king of nerfs in video games. Still, if you think about it, the search form"the weapon with the god roll" made all of us put hours into the game. And what satisfying feeling it was when you'd get it. But then...yeah.. nerfed! I got my first vex on the same week it got nerfed and Gally 3 weeks before got nerfed. Same happened with the hopscotch and the "god roll"grasp. So yeah, I know the feeling very well.

It's. A. Beta. It's supposed to give you a small amount of content to fix crucial bugs. It's not supposed to be the final game.
-
Agree with you, and I never said otherwise. Still, it's a beta. Very close to the final product. Developing a game you have different stages, and the beta is close, I repeat, close to the final product. Also, you must agree that the beta is putting a lot of people off. But...we can only hope. Now, being realistic. I don't believe that they're going to fix all the crap they made. C'mon, one thing is knowing that it's a beta, another thing is to fool yourself.
-
True guess we will see if the game is good or not. Hopefully good.
-
Let's hope so Dan
-
Yeah but the 4v4 and single player content isn't gonna change much this late into development
-
sadly, I believe you're right moose
-
If Destiny 2 has 63 GB and the original game combined with DLC is less, I will bet there is alot more to see.
-
Don't forget the 4k content everyone has to download no matter if you use it or not.
-
YAAAAAY! frikin 4 week long updates of 85Gb each ಥ_ಥ
-
The beta is 13GB
-
The beta is not 13GB
-
The beta is not 13GB
Okay, 12.8. lul kek.

No worries, I was surprised by that as well!
