I really don't get the people that like the PvP of D2. "Now it takes skill!"? Who cares about skill instead of just having fun? This game isn't and never will be competitive because of the extremely awful backbones technical standards, so why even bother? Vanilla Destiny was great despite all it's flaws because it was actually different from other games...because it was fun. Supers, Grenades, strong Melees, Specials, awesome Primaries, etc. It was literally like Halo on Steroids. Now it's just another lame Halo wannabe without the epicness and technical perfection of Halo. It's like CoD with an ultraslow ttk and a crappy small playercount combined with the worst P2P system out there. You're forced to use crappy Primaries because other things aren't availiable most of the time. What's the purpose of being a superhero when you cannot even use your superhero powers to your advantage? What's the point of Destiny when you cannot even use what makes Destiny different from other games? Hell, even Titanfall 2 is the better Destiny now and that's really sad. The PvP of Vanilla Destiny was great and only needed some minor tweaks. Of course it wasn't perfect, but the important thing was that is was special and fun...and look what it is now...it is a whole different game. Completely different from the early days that made this game great. If you like the PvP of D2, you either never played the PvP of Vanilla D1...or you hated the PvP of Vanilla D1. It's a shame that a former awesome game was destroyed just to cater to a group of the playerbase that didn't even play or like the original.
