Im sure if someone found a way to get free silver bungie would ban the people who exploited it in a heart beat

Since Silver is technically a financial transaction it would be a big government no/no to not address it quicker than the issues you are stressing about. Last thing you need is the government leaning on your nuts. Never a good time.
-
But disrupting internet services isn’t?
-
One costs far more money fighting it. Never said it was a perfect system.
-
It literally costs isp money when you get hit with a large ddos attack and if they keep hitting you. Playing comp in destiny at this point is just not intelligent, it's sketchy as a random skype call and accepting it.
-
Hence the word MORE. I’m not being argumentative. I’m fairly specific when I speak.
-
Gotcha, I think I just misunderstood where you were going with this at first but I just read further down the thread and agree whole heartedly what you were getting at. My bad man
-
It depends on the scale of attack. One person exploiting silver is not as big as one person disrupting many other persons’ internet services. Of course it isn’t a perfect system. Especially when Bungie is half assed about it.
-
All it takes is one idiot with a YouTube channel and enough dummies will cause that singular problem to be a lot bigger one.
-
That’s extremely circumstantial. Plus, if a YouTuber uploaded that it’d get patched very soon.
-
Public knowledge is a bitch sometimes. I guess since I’ve never experienced a DDOS on Destiny(I also play a lot of games in PC so I know how impactful they can be). I don’t really bother much with worrying about the issue. Not the most important thing to me.
-
Especially when Bungie is half assed about it.
You're giving them too much credit.
-
Lol the one I remember the most was the SRL patch were they patched it the very next day
-
Got patched in like 4hrs 50mins if I remember rightly.
-
When Eververse was introduced on D1 TTK, there was a glitch that allowed you to get infinite lootboxes. Glitch was removed in less than 5 hours. Literally, my friends told me on whatsapp that the glitch existed about 11:00 am, I was on work, when I arrived home (about 19:00) and tried it, it was gone. Bungie, literally, doesn't give a rat's ass about cheating. But, if impacts eververse sales, the fix comes out ASAP.

Edited by meatballsublime: 11/5/2018 6:34:15 PMBump... I remember this too... and I remember the community having much the same reaction to "why is this fixed so fast when all of these other issues have been sitting around for months without even an acknowledgement?"
-
They take months IF they ever fix it... Crota still have a bug where the sword disappears right after you pick it up. Said bug exists since the release of the raid and never got fixed.
-
You know they would. Fuxking scum ass company. I can't believe I wasted money again.
-
You know they would. Fuxking scum ass company. I can't believe I wasted money again.
Pretty strong opinion from someone who is literally still playing as I post this. Cheeseball 🤣
-
If I waste money on it I'm gonna play it. Game is shit and I'm out if D3 releases
-
If he wants to voice his opinion he has the right to he paid just like everybody else.
-
Ya no shit. I just thought it was funny that he says what he said, and is still playing this shitty game lol. Try and keep up short bus.
-
Get out of Bungie's ass hole, you -blam!-ing drone.
