I'll make sure the security team sees your report. We don't allow accusations that include player names to be posted publicly here on the forums because it leads to witch hunting, but you can report suspected cheaters using this form.
We do issue bans and restrictions for a wide array of cheating including modification or interruption of Destiny 2 network traffic with intent to disrupt the experience of other players or to gain an advantage in the game.
For more information on what constitutes cheating and how bans and restrictions work, you can visit our Restrictions and Banning Policies article.

Boy, I remember doing some pottery work, and my CLAY- was -CLUTCH..... sure took a looooooong time, even with multiple reports and videos and enough proof to even make a judge laugh, to actually be banned. You’re a joke Cozmo.
-
👍👍👍👍👍👍

We've been hearing this for almost 5 years now and it's already gotten old. Bungie's credibility has already gone out the door. My hope is that you're reporting the DDos'ers to the FBI's office that handles internet terrorism. If you're not then you're seriously part of the problem.
-
why wouldn't they have seen it from the in game reports.. Many of us have provided the ingame reports and nothing is done. You may issue bans but, are clearly not doing enough to ban and more importantly, discourage the cheating that goes on.
-
Sorry Cosmo. I know you're just regurgitating the company line, probably under orders. But the entire point of this post is that YOU DO NOT ISSUE BANS. At least not nearly enough of them. You guys punish about 1% of the cheaters, and it's absolutely disgusting.
-
Why would they issue bans? It's not like the population is big enough, which is why they let anything go. They cant risk losing 1 or 2 players lol

In fact it makes your entire post there pretty much just words meant to pacify but with ZERO truth behind them. Much of the Destiny community no longer believes anything Bungie says on this subject. Words don't matter, actions do! The dogged determination of the OP to continue reporting and speaking out on this are pretty impressive and each statement like your 'lip service' post there Cozmo just makes Bungie look more and more like the big insurance company who keeps denying claims hoping the customer will just give up. Looks like you've met your match with the OP here and I say good for OP!

Reported many players over the years nothing gets done, paid carries and account recoveries are advertised on well known auction sites by pro players/clans!!!
-
Paid carries and account recoveries are advertised on bungie's app and nothing is done about it. When it is clearly against bungie's code of conduct and console terms of service. Cheaters make this game prosper and that what bungie wants. Cheating=time invested. $$$ for bungie.
-
There are known cheaters that are still playing D2 freely. How is Bungie upholding the integrity of their game when people are allowed to cheat so easily and without real repercussions? If a player is ddossing or hacking their account should be suspended indefinitely. There are so many hackers on PC it’s insane and they’re never caught by Bungie. Let’s also just say that Bungie has never actually taken DDossing seriously - otherwise these cheats wouldn’t be playing on their same account daily.

Cozmo thinks he has credibility..lol, that's how out of touch Bungie is.. ..Game Developers, not business people, if they were, they'd stop treating their customers like we're stupid...
-
1. There will be dedicated servers 2. The community is going to help us improve, shape, and drive the long-term direction of the end game content. We will involve you and we will listen to you! ehm no sorry, that's not from destiny, it's from ea, developer of anthem

Edited by PhEnOm: 11/6/2018 2:50:46 PMYou mean like this clay guy and all the others that get reported now for already 4 years straight STILL cheating the crap out of your game? Lies. Lies. And more lies. Cozmo, you see the mountain? I'd love to tell you to go there. But unfortunately you can't. Yet, here you are, feeding us with more crap. People here are addressing this problems now for years, but still, same sh**, different day. I wouldn't bother too much, if i wouldn't be constantly forced into playing this garbage. But that's what i am. Forced into it for clan bounties and milestones. As it seems you too incompetent to fix it, a good solution would be to start by not forcing players into playing it, but offer ways to get stuff done with giving some freedom to the player to decide what he wants to play to get bounties done.
-
You will make sure they see the report???? Newsflash: If your broken ass shit worked like you swear it does, the team would have already investigated. Totally incompetent and smart as a rock.
-
This is why dedicated servers should exist so that this doesn't happen

Edited by TriCann0n: 11/6/2018 9:17:26 PM-blam!- off coz. You better look up the meaning of the word accusations. People are fed up because its there is definitive -blam!-ing proof they are cheating. Here you are calling them "accusations" seriously its like trump not being able to say white supremacists are bad.... say it with me cozmo....cheaters are bad and no there isn't good people on both sides. There is the good side and the bad side nice to see you covering up for the bad guys in the game. Well done. Just well done.
-
You are full of shit. Example a) trials...
-
So full of shit.
-
...and Bingo was his name-o...
-
Sorry Cozmo. I know it's the only boiler plate response you're allowed to post. Hopefully your security team realizes that this directly impacted a player beyond your products. This could lead to direct damages if his ISP decides to throttle or cancel the players service. This only sets you up for a lawsuit. Best of luck.
-
Sure, pass it on. Like it’s something that just recently popped up. This has been going on for years now. Bungie decides to maximize profit by sticking with p2p with absolutely no control over network manipulation and players using mods. The worst part is that the only reply coming from Bungie is ‘our security team is working on it’ when there is no doubt that the ‘security team’ is failling.
-
Better question, is there a security team?
-
Yep. Silver security force.
-
Sorry Cozmo but the evidence contradicts otherwise.
