It depends on the scale of attack.
One person exploiting silver is not as big as one person disrupting many other persons’ internet services.
Of course it isn’t a perfect system. Especially when Bungie is half assed about it.

All it takes is one idiot with a YouTube channel and enough dummies will cause that singular problem to be a lot bigger one.

That’s extremely circumstantial. Plus, if a YouTuber uploaded that it’d get patched very soon.

Public knowledge is a bitch sometimes. I guess since I’ve never experienced a DDOS on Destiny(I also play a lot of games in PC so I know how impactful they can be). I don’t really bother much with worrying about the issue. Not the most important thing to me.
