Destiny 2 shouldn’t have even been released.... if Bungie knew how to expand onto the world of destiny they would have launched a mass expansion onto the existing D1. Giving us the updated graphics, areas, weapons, armour sets and features while retaining D1 content and class mobility/perks. In that way we could’ve still played the new story while also giving people plenty of activities to play keeping the game more active in dry times

I hope they could merge the games. But I don’t think that’s possible

Just picture it, merging everything content wise from D1 with the subclasses and weapons + weapon handling with D2’s content and weapons. Then release a mass expansion dubbed D3 and contain all that content under the domain Destiny.... everyone would be thrilled. You have the weapon handling everyone loved from D1 with all the old raids and weapons. Being able to play new raids with old raid exotics. You can have all the D2 exotics and their reworks. It would be perfect!!
