Wait -
I thought according to the update the Dreaming City Lore was being updated.
I just did the ascendent challenge and got no Lore entry towards the Dreaming City Book?
Am i reading this wrong?!?

No you aren't. It might not of come up at he bottom of the screen (probably a small bug) but you still gain progress. It happened to my friend earlier but he did get a lore drop.
