The Arc week is a slick buisness trick to sell emotes. Essentially what happened here was they had lined up a bunch of arc subclass fixes. So instead of just dropping the buffs they had to find a way to strong arm emotes for cash into the mix. They couldn't just drop emotes. It would look greedy. So they named a balance patch, turned it into an eververse event, which allowed them to shove limited time only emote boxes into the store. Win win. You win cause of the buffs, bungie wins cause of the emote sales. Expect a solar and void week. These are just cash shop events disguised as balance passes. Tbh the buffs werent even that amazing. Why am i giving up my spectrals in crucible, or my blade barrage in pve, for some trash arc staff garbage. Oh my bad they only buffed the roll damage reduction. The other buffs are for the punch that nobody actually combos because it is a huge waste of time.

  • Not so slick con job for sure. Bungo always trying to make more money on reskinned d1 content year after year. If they would have spent their time actually building a game they would have an excellent game and actually earn some real money. Warframe came out the same time as d1 and has so many more worlds, events, contents, character, abilities, and things to do that it makes destiny look like a commercial.
