They tried catering to solo players with the launch of D2 and look where that got them. I’m not against content for solo players I would just rather them put the resources into something I can play with my friends.

1) vanilla D2's issues and complaints had literally nothing to do with "catering to solo players". 2) D2 Y2 has had much WORSE population numbers in both PvP and PvE the last 3 months.

What does this prove your comparing a dlc to a small content update. It was funny to shit on the game in year 1 because it was bad warmind was wear things started to turn around. Forsaken pulled in huge sales and numbers the stats were back up in the millions and everything PvE related was fantastic. And if you honestly think leviathan on hard mode is harder then any D1 raid you must be high the only reason it can give players trouble is because of all the glitches it has. If you seriously believe Y1 of D2 was better then good on you but there’s no denying that since forsaken the game has had more players. Even in the content drought we’re in right now the numbers are rivaling CoO when it was only a few weeks old.

This is like the twelfth thing I've seen people blame the launch of D2 on. No, you cannot use vanilla D2 as a scapegoat for literally every gripe or request that comes up. The problems with vanilla D2 have been quantified and dissected and are very clear, they are not a catch-all for when you want to put down someone's idea.

I can and I will imo D2 launch was horrific because of casuals and solos complaining during RoI and TTK about how hard the game was

Big difference between solos and casuals. What Bungie did was cater to casuals (and included some shit ideas that had nothing to do with any player type). You can have solo endgame content and fireteam content for casuals (or strikes). Don’t confuse solo with casual.

Yes they do that’s why there called if you use lfg your a normal destiny player. Solos players to me are people who play solo and don’t use lfg or anything like that.
