By the way, there’s a lot of us who are quite content, depending on the group, to spend hours in a raid. Made good friends that way. Until they all left. Albeit, I won’t spend 15 minutes in a raid of squeakers.

Then why not take the 10 minutes to find a group to your specifications and have fun while enjoying a much higher success rate and also likely finishing faster leaving you time for other things? Why want to doom yourself to search for 5 others, pray they speak english, pray they know what to do, pray they dont go afk, pray they stay and dont leave, pray they are willing to move to other roles as required, pray they have optimal gear, etc

  • That’s why with optional matchmaking, the onus for enjoyment is on me. I have to accept my decisions, whether this way or via lfg. It’s all a crapshoot really. Lfg is only a step up from matchmaking.

  • 1. Not st the cost of our shared devs time and resources, they could focusing on other stuff 2. Theres a world of difference between lfg and mm. MM is completely random, you can get first timers, the worlds worst players and underleveled players vs lfg where they set requirements you must meet and ones you'll get booted over
