It's funny that you say something like that, but there is literally nothing wrong with matchmaking in games , it's usually because of lazy game design it doesn't work to be honest. A raid for example can be challenging and still have the necessary tools for people in a matchmade group to succeed. You're basically saying to someone who might not have friends on the platform they are playing on might have social anxiety or whatever the case may be that the game might not be for them for what reason...because they want an option for the way they want to play the game. I'm sorry , but that's idiotic. If you look at a game like wow they have a premade group finder and it works great for people who don't want to deal with straight up matchmaking, and don't want to go to 3rd party websites to find a group. Bungie offers very ltitle to people in this regard, like i said lazy game design is usually the culprit for these things. But yeah the game might not be for these people right...common sense. I did every raid in destiny 1, and yet i have only done 2 of them in destiny 2 , not because of their challenge, but because of the hassle require just to get into the damn thing anymore. Most of the people i played with quit the game very early in and had and still have no intention on giving bungie another chance after we all sat around in destiny 1 waiting a year for that game to be a product worth playing. I hate when people just say the game might not be for you, when any smart company or game for that matter tries to please as many people as possible while not taking away from the overall vision of the game, they might not need to put full blown matchmaking in, but they damn sure don't have any good systems to get people without a full 6 man squad into the raid either.
