There's matchmaking for Reckoning, what's the difference. They're both mechanic driven. The reason why people don't know what to do is they've never raided. I've only done Scourge once and last wish like 4 times because I have to use guided games or lfg. The matchmaking should be clear based, yes, but it should be there

Reckoning just requires people to stay in a circle and shoot the boss. I wouldnt consider that as "hardcore mechanics" And even a simple mechanic like that is hard to grasp for the average blueberry. Most of the times people matchmake into Tier 3 Reckoning fail because players dont understand how DPS works, focus firing the stompers or staying in the circle. Matchmaking is a good intention for endgame content, but it will fail due to lack of communication and effort from the player.

What about people with no mics, leave half way though, don't want to learn or listen, Afk players, Language barriers, players that lack decent builds and guns etc the list can go on. Matchmaking in raids would not work. Bungie have it right.
